Classes & Seminars

The difference between Classes and Seminars?

Classes: We teach Classes in our Temecula Training Facility on a regular basis. Some classes are focused on Master Builder modules, and other are focused on general business challenges. We have listed below the Class Names of the courses we plan on providing in the future.

Traditional Job Costing - For owners, bookkeepers new to construction, project managers and estimators.

Two four-hour sessions over two weeks with home work and two one-hour on line classes.

Traditional Job Cost Accounting is about, as the title suggests, two things: traditional accounting (as opposed to relational database accounting) and job cost accounting. And it is structured as such: basic accounting and job cost principles are presented, sample transactions are entered in journals, subsidiary ledgers, and general ledger: accounts reconciled, and financial reports prepared, "read" and analyzed.

Healthy Checkup for your Business - For business owners

One four hour class and one hour long on line follow up meeting.

A class designed for owners who manage their construction companies the best they can. The class helps you understand and utilize project management reports, balance sheets and financial statements.

    Class includes:
  • Key Accounting Terms
  • Balance Sheet Elements
  • Critical Numbers
  • Critical Ratios
  • How to perform a Balances Sheet Audit-yes by yourself

Seminars: These seminars focus on how Master Builder can be used to produce the best results for your company. Except for the Report Writer Class, these seminars span more than one Master Builder module. We offer Seminars on a monthly basis in several locations in southern California and southern Nevada. The Seminar Titles are:
Project Management
Estimating
Report Writing
Advanced Accounting
Advanced Project Management and many others
